Google Maps Ski Guide - Part Two

iMap Weather

iMap Weather have added winter weather and Snocountry information to their already comprehensive weather mapping service.

If you turn on the Skiing and Snowboarding layer on the map it is possible to quickly see which ski resorts have new snow, which are open and which are closed. Open ski resorts are shown with a green marker, those with new snow are shown by a blue marker and closed resorts are shown in red.

Clicking on a marker opens an information window with details of the number of runs and lifts open and also links to trail maps.

Maine's Snow Report

Maine's Snow Report is a Google Map that provides a quick guide to open ski resorts in Maine. Open ski resorts are shown with green map markers, closed resorts are shown in red.

Clicking on a map marker provides details of the number of lifts and trails open, as well as the current weather conditions.

Cross Country Skiing in the Finger Lakes
This Google My Map shows dozens of cross-country skiing spots across the Finger Lakes area in New York State. The map includes photos, prices, trail guides, websites and directions.
