Average Incomes on Google Maps

Using data from the 2006-2010 U.S. census Rich Blocks, Poor Blocks shows how much money people make in every neighborhood in America.

If you want to know what the average income is in your neighborhood, or you want to see which are the wealthiest neighborhoods in your city, you can search the map by address or use the drop-down menu to view the data for a whole state.

Median incomes are displayed on the map using a heat map to show data for each individual census tract. If you click on the map you can compare the tract income data in your block to the average income for your state.
